| LIGHTNING HAND's "Almost To Nowhere" was recorded at the infamous Audio West Studios in West Sacramento under legendary engineer/producer Ed Etzel. The Cd contains 13 original tracks from the band, written by Eric Lazar and Greg Bee. Ed liked the music and band so much he ended up joining the band to play keys and guitar in early 2007.
LIGHTNING HAND's music is interesting since it combines Classic Rock songwriting with a more modern jamband sound. The album covers several genres including Blues, Rock'n'Roll, Traditional Country, and jamband. Fans have been quoted in magazines as calling the band "Groove/Rock" or "Grateful Dead-ish Blues/Rock". |
